In fact the Commanding Royal Engineer excluded the site so his reason was that the Range was unhealthy. I have only further to explain my reason for insisting that the buildings be removed at the close of the not season, should the Range not be included in the military Cantonment by the final Decision of Her Majesty's Government, that if no definite period were fixed, the Colony might be unable for years to avail itself of the ground.
